The mom person wouldn’t let me on her laptop last week. She even took it with her while she was gone for a long time just to make sure I didn’t type anything on it.

I don’t know why. She’s just weird.

Because of her weirdness, I was forced to wait until now to tell you about my road trip in the thing with the round paws. We were in it for a really long time and the mom and dad person went with me. I had fun looking out the windows, but the mom and dad person wouldn’t open the top thing so I could put my head out and really survey everything.

Because of their lack of cooperation, I took a long nap out of sheer boredom. But a couple of times the mom and dad person gave me treats from a bag they got from people hanging out a window. Shhhh….don’t tell the animal doctor.

We finally arrived at a place with lots of interesting smells. And there were these really, really big dogs with black and white spots on them all over the place. They sometimes barked in a really weird way. They kinda scared me because there were so many of them and they were so big. I decided to just sniff around and keep my distance…just in case.

We went inside a building near the big spotted dogs and man, were there ever smells in there to explore! Even the floor was interesting. The mom person would not let me off my leash, though, so I was forced to only explore smells in a 3 foot radius. Soooo frustrating.

What am I going to do with her? I thought I had her trained better than this.

Anyway…since I couldn’t really explore too many other places, I finally just rested on the cool floor. The dad person played on a computer himself for a long time. The mom person just read, in between yanking on my leash every five minutes. Some days I do not like her very much!

She did start scratching my head. She even gave me paw massages, but I think it was a Communist plot to keep me from roaming around the building too much.

She has an awful lot of audacity for a human people.

But, all in all, it was a fun road trip and it sure was less boring than hanging in the same old yard every day. I’m going to have to train my people to put me in the thing with the round paws more often. Time to consult my people training manual…yet again.
